Still In Lynch

We're still in Lynch. Today Seth and I dug a two 5-foot holes with nothing but a post hole digger and an iron digger. It was a pretty fun job until the hole flooded. We then set the fence poles in the holes and cemented them in. Last night we went to Greater Mount Sinai Baptist church. Yeah we got the sense of the Holy Spirit working in there. This was my second Black Church Experience.

Tonight we're headed over to another church for Wednesday night. Today I had the scripture reading at lunch. I chose to go Old Testament. I bet that doesn't happen to often from a 17 year old, or well anyone really I suppose. I chose " But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul." -Deuteronomy 4:29.

I challenge everyone, including myself to stay strong in your faith, and don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. If you don't step out of it, it's hard to grow in your faith. Missions aren't for everyone, but I encourage you to pray and ask God for guidance in deciding what you'll do.

"1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them." - Acts 2:1-4
